Day 2, Tarangire Park
After an early breakfast, we will cross the maasai steppe on our way to Tarangire National Park, Tanzania’s fourth largest and one of its most diverse parks. The landscape is dotted by the iconic huge Baobab trees. Giraffes, buffalos and elephants are seen easily unbothered by our presence and going about their daily routines. There is abundance of wildlife including lions, leopards, oryx, diki diks and a wide range of bird species, with possible sightings of pythons on top of trees, while meandering along bush tracks and exploring the Tarangire’s rivers twist and turns with elephant drinking and playing in the refreshing waters. On the second day you will be accommodated at either Country Lodge or Bougainvilla Lodge.
Day 3, Serengeti National Park
On day three you will wake up early morning to a cup of fresh brewed Tanzania coffee. After breakfast, we will make our way to Serengeti National Park heading northwest. On the way, we will stop at Olduvai Gorge, the cradle of mankind where paleontologists and anthropologists have found hundreds of fossilized bones and stone tools dating back millions of years. We will enjoy the gorge landscape and visit the small museum to view some of the incredible finds of Drs. Louis and Mary Leakey. Then later proceed with our drive to Serengeti, which means endless plain in Maasai Language, is a well-known paradise for wild life, quite bigger than Jamaica and famous for great migrations and its huge natural diversity. Your first game safari in Serengeti will give you the chance to spot lions and other animals native to the land. On the third day you will be accommodated at Sound of Silence.
Day 4, Serengeti National Park
On day four, you will have the chance to embark on a morning game drive at dawn (if you wish) to see nocturnal animals retiring and the diurnal species waking up for a new day under the beautiful African rising sun. You will then go back to the lodge/camp for breakfast, leaving with a lunch box for a full day of game drives on the endless plains of the Serengeti. Depending on the time of year of your Safari, may witness the great migration that involves the movement of over a million and a half wildebeest, together with zebras and gazelles, in what is the largest mass movement of animals on the planet. The Serengeti ecosystem is also home to lions, leopards, elephants, cheetahs, buffalos, elands, wild dogs, crocodiles and more, including Eurasia migrants Birds. On the fourth day you will be accommodated at Sound of Silence.
Day 5, Ngorongoro Crater
On day five there will be a sunrise game drive from 06:30am to 12:00pm. Then we will enjoy lunch before we depart for the Ngorongoro crater. We will then spend a full day tour exploring the crater floor. This volcanic crater is one of the largest caldera in the world. Ngorongoro is said to have the highest density of wildlife in Africa, so you can admire many animal species together. Because of this, it’s one of the only places on earth where you may see all of the Big Five at once: lion, leopard, elephant, African buffalo and black rhino. To maximize your time on the crater floor, you will enjoy a special boxed lunch at a scenic picnic spot. On the fifth day you will be accommodated at Either Country Lodge or BougainVilla lodge.
Day 6, Lake Manyara National Park - Departure
